The best time to automate your sectional door is as the door is being installed, however you can add an automatic door motor at any time. Adding a B&D sectional door motor ensures that your garage is securely sealed every time you close it with features like automatic backdrive forcing the door back down when it senses unwanted entry.

Which opener is right for me?

All of our sectional door openers are stress tested to ensure they open and close your garage door quickly and quietly, year after year, no matter the size of the door. B&D sectional door openers include a soft start and soft stop feature that minimises the stress on the opener, while also helping to reduce noise when opening or closing the door.



You should get your garage door motor serviced regularly (approximately every two years) to maximise the life of the motor. The good news is, B&D motors are so smart that that the built-in tech will automatically let you know when a service is due. Even your car isn't that smart!
