Register and keep your records

Register your purchase on our B&D website. Have the door/opener model, purchase or installation date, dealer, receipt and contact details ready. The form opens on our main website.

The general brochure linked below applies to products purchased after 15 April 2023. The start date is normally the purchase date on the receipt; products bought through a building contract have a separate definition in the terms. Keep the document applicable to your purchase.

Whichever occurs first: each year/cycle pair is a single limit that ends when either threshold is reached. A high-use door may reach its cycle limit before the stated number of years.

Residential use in the general terms means a residential single-home application. Roll-A-Door Secure has its own system warranty: use the Secure warranty section and linked terms. Confirm the base door and applicable certificate for Neo, designer and other package descriptions rather than inferring cover from a finish name.

What Total Confidence requires

  • An eligible B&D sectional door and sectional opener, or B&D rolling door and rolling opener, purchased in the same transaction.
  • Installation by B&D or a B&D Representative.
  • Use, care and maintenance for the intended purpose in accordance with the product information.
  • Registration as soon as possible after purchase.
  • Service by a B&D Representative within 12 months after installation and every two years thereafter.

Your standard warranty also requires the specified installation, use, care and maintenance. We recommend regular professional servicing; Total Confidence has the additional registration and service-schedule conditions set out here. Adding an opener later does not qualify an existing door automatically.

Springs, cables and accessories have separate terms

Component groupPeriod in the general table
Seals, springs and lifting cables1 year
AUTO LOCK, Safety Beams, battery backup, smartphone kit/hub1 year
Transmitters, receivers, transceivers, solar kits, memory cards and opener rails1 year

Springs have both a design-cycle rating and a separate warranty period. The rating does not extend the years of cover. Batteries and other consumables need replacement as required, and accessories retain their own terms even when your door or opener has longer cover.

Commercial and industrial periods

Product / useStandard period in the B&D general table
Roll-A-Door — commercial1 year or 30,000 cycles
Rollmasta — commercial1 year or 15,000 cycles
Roll-A-Shutter1 year or 10,000 cycles
Axess Pro 31005 years or 10,000 cycles
Axess Pro 33002 years or 10,000 cycles
Axess Pro 15055 years or 10,000 cycles — confirm the supplied package; the manufacturer brochure gives different terms
Toro GDO-102 years or 5,000 cycles
Hiro GDO-122 years or 10,000 cycles

Each limit ends at the year or cycle threshold, whichever comes first. The general table does not extend residential Total Confidence cover to these industrial operators. It also marks the listed residential sectional doors and residential opener models as unsuitable for commercial use. Confirm the actual supply terms where operator-manufacturer documents differ.

If you suspect a defect

  • Stop using equipment that is damaged or operating unsafely.
  • Contact us promptly on 13 62 63 or through our contact options.
  • Keep the purchase receipt, installation details, model/version and service records available.
  • Describe the symptoms and supply photographs from a safe position if requested.
  • We assess the information and may arrange an inspection or request return of a component; the applicable terms set out the process.

Care, exclusions and consumer rights

The warranty document explains exclusions including unsuitable installation/use, neglect, unauthorised modifications, certain environmental exposure and continued operation after an evident fault. Normal weathering and timber-look variation are also addressed. This summary does not replace the complete conditions.

Our goods carry guarantees under Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. The manufacturer’s warranty is additional to those rights; registration or a warranty exclusion does not remove statutory rights.

The linked forms are on our main B&D website. Review the Privacy Collection Statement and Privacy Policy when supplying your details. Opening this guide does not submit a booking or registration.
