If your door appears damaged or unsafe

Stop using it and keep people clear of the opening. Don’t test a damaged door by trying to move it manually, and don’t adjust springs, cables or other tensioned parts. Contact a qualified garage-door technician and explain what you can see from a safe position. For urgent help outside our phone hours, use our emergency repair contacts by state and postcode. Call the repairer directly to confirm coverage, attendance and any after-hours charges; an online enquiry is not confirmation of an emergency attendance.
