Roll-A-Door Secure

Protection built into every part

Feel confident about what’s behind your garage door. We’ve brought dual automatic locks, reinforced guides, a security bottom rail and a B&D-specified opener together in Roll-A-Door Secure to help resist forced entry, tampering and impact. Both sides lock when you close the door, with a locking sound and illuminated indicators so you can check it’s secure.

Four parts working together

Dual side AUTO LOCK

We position an automatic lock on each side of the door. The locks engage with the security bottom rail when the door closes, securing both ends rather than relying only on the opener. A distinctive locking sound and illuminated indicators provide feedback. The dual locks are rated IP66 for protection against dust and powerful water jets; this rating applies to the locks, not to every component of the door or opener.

Heavy-duty security guides

Our aluminium security guides run down both sides of the opening. They retain the curtain within the guide system and are engineered to resist attempts to pry it out. Guide blocks with double rollers help support smooth movement.

Reinforced security bottom rail

The heavy-duty anodised aluminium bottom rail works directly with the two locks to resist upward force. Its ribbed profile and gunmetal grey anodised finish are part of the Secure design. The finish offers corrosion resistance; it is a separate finish from your chosen curtain colour.

A compatible opener specified for the system

The opener operates both the door and its dual locks. It includes Automatic BackDrive, reverse technology and Tri-Tran+ encrypted remote control technology. We specify the opener during your measure and quote so the complete combination suits the door and its use. An existing opener is not automatically compatible, even if it carries the Power Drive name.

Choose your profile, size and construction

Neo has a broad, 180 mm profile that gives a single roller door a clean architectural appearance. Deluxe has an 83 mm profile and is offered for single and double openings. Both roll above the opening, preserving ceiling space farther inside the garage.

We use Nylofelt running strips for smooth, quiet, greaseless operation; buffered steel door stops; and a thick weatherseal to restrict water and leaves entering below the door. The single-door models also have a curtain separator and mini top sheet to limit curtain rubbing. The weatherseal does not make a garage floodproof or airtight.

Door height and usable drive-through height

Check the space you can drive through as well as the door’s overall size. The Secure model heights below follow our September 2026 specifications. On the Deluxe double, allow for a 95 mm difference between the door height and maximum drive-through height.

ModelDoor height → maximum drive-through height
Neo single RADSN2,100 → 2,100 mm; 2,400 → 2,400 mm; 2,700 → 2,700 mm

Deluxe double RADSD2,100 → 2,005 mm; 2,400 → 2,305 mm; 2,700 → 2,605 mm; 3,000 → 2,905 mm

The sheet identifies these as non-Wind-Lock drive-through dimensions. The maximum width includes curtain overlap and is not the clear garage-opening width. We will measure the opening and confirm the permitted height/width combination, usable clearance and installation detail for your property.

Find your colour and finish

Find your look across our range of 30 core colours, five matt finishes and four Timber Coat finishes. Single- and double-door choices differ as shown below. These colours apply to the curtain; the security bottom rail has its own gunmetal grey anodised finish.

Colour and product availability can vary by location. Our rolling-door specification sheet marks Dover White with a surcharge; we will confirm finish pricing and any other applicable charges in your quote. See a physical sample before ordering: screen settings, lighting and printed reproductions can change how a colour appears. Timber-look appearance can vary, and normal weathering can reduce colour or gloss over time.

Installation space and clearances

Your garage needs room above, behind and beside the opening for the curtain, brackets, guides, locks and opener. The following dimensions are from the September 2026 specification sheet. All measurements are in millimetres.

Model and door-height bandMinimum opener-side / plain-side roomRecommended headroom / backroomMinimum overlap per side
Neo RADSN or Deluxe RADSS, up to 2,400 mm high135 / 125 mm430 / 505 mm45 mm

Deluxe RADSD, 2,401–3,000 mm high170 / 170 mm565 / 555 mm60 mm

The single-door rows apply up to 3,150 mm door width; the double-door rows apply up to 5,500 mm, including overlap. Minimum side-room figures assume the specified curtain overlap. These are the sheet’s A1 opener clearances and measurements for doors without handles; restricted headroom and handle arrangements require the relevant installation instructions. They are planning dimensions, not a substitute for the installer’s site assessment or approval to use any opener.

Set up the right system for your garage

Choice or requirementWhat applies to Roll-A-Door Secure
New home or replacement doorWe can assess a new opening or replace an existing door with the complete Secure system. Its security components cannot be retrofitted to turn an ordinary roller door into Secure.
Opener selectionWe pair single Secure models with the specified Power Drive version, and double models with the specified Power Drive or GDO-12 Hiro. We’ll confirm the exact opener and application so it works with your dual locks.
Smartphone controlAvailable as an option. We’ll specify the compatible hub/kit, connection requirements and Safety Beams with your opener. Smartphone operation needs suitable Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity.
Sloping-floor tapersFixed or independent tapers are not available for Roll-A-Door Secure. We need to assess a sloping opening before recommending a solution.
Ventilation or perforated curtainVentilation/perforation slotting is not available for Secure.
Removable mullionsNot available for Secure.
High-wind applicationsDeluxe single RADSS has region A and B configurations, subject to door size and the applicable certification drawings. Regions C and D are not included for RADSS, and Neo RADSN and Deluxe double RADSD have no wind-region rating in this specification. Security testing is separate from cyclone certification.
Shared or commercial useThis has a different warranty category and needs an opener specified by B&D for the application. We will assess operating frequency and the complete system.

If you want a keypad, battery backup or another connected accessory, include it in the measure-and-quote brief. Compatibility must be confirmed for the opener and Secure system we specify. The battery type and emergency procedure in the separate sectional AUTO LOCK guide should not be applied to these dual locks.

What our security testing covers

We tested Roll-A-Door Secure against selected premium roller doors from Gliderol, Steel Line, Eco, Centurion and Taurean. Within that comparison, Secure was the only tested roller door to comply with section 6.3 (locking devices) of AS/NZS 4505-2012, and it exceeded the test criteria. The result relates to the doors in our comparison, rather than every roller door on the market.

We design the system to improve resistance to attempted entry. It cannot guarantee prevention of every break-in and should form part of your home’s wider security arrangements.

Warranty for the complete Secure system

Roll-A-Door Secure has dedicated warranty terms covering the curtain, compatible opener, dual locks, guides, bottom rail, springs and specified associated components as a complete system. Use these terms for a Secure purchase rather than applying the standalone sectional AUTO LOCK accessory warranty.

ApplicationStandard warrantyTotal Confidence Warranty
Residential single-home use5 years or 30,000 cycles10 years or 30,000 cycles
Commercial use, as defined in the terms1 year or 30,000 cycles2 years or 30,000 cycles

Each period ends at the time or cycle limit, whichever comes first. One cycle is one complete opening and closing operation. Shared, strata/body-corporate, common-property, multi-residential and industrial applications fall within the commercial definition. Commercial use requires a B&D-specified compatible opener for that application.

What you need to do

Conditions that matter before you buy

Normal wear, routine replacement of consumables and normal fading or loss of gloss are not covered as product defects. The terms contain exclusions for misuse, neglected servicing, unauthorised modifications, unsuitable components and external damage. Unapproved alarms or smart-home integrations can affect cover where they contribute to a fault.

Exposure matters: prolonged marine, industrial or other corrosive exposure, including installations within 1 km of those environments, can affect service life and coverage. So can a lack of natural rain washing where an eave, canopy, patio, carport or verandah projects more than 600 mm from the wall. We will discuss the site and required care with you.

Opener exclusions include faults associated with power surges or unsuitable wiring, radio interference, continuous operation exceeding one minute in ten, or a door requiring more than 20 kg of manual opening/closing force. These are operating and warranty conditions, not reasons to keep using a heavy or faulty door.

If a possible defect develops, contact us promptly on 13 62 63 or enquiries@bnd.com.au, retain your receipt and stop continued operation that could cause further damage. We may arrange inspection or request information or return of a component. Remedies and exclusions are set out in the full system terms. Your Australian Consumer Law rights are additional to the manufacturer’s warranty.

Care, operation and your measure-and-quote checklist

Keep the opening clear while the door moves, observe the lock indicators, and follow the operating and emergency-release instructions supplied with your installed Secure system. Do not force a locked door or change the locks, guides, springs or opener settings yourself. Arrange service if movement becomes uneven, a lock does not engage correctly or the opener shows a fault.

For an accurate quote, tell us your preferred profile and finish; the opening dimensions; any sloping floor; the usable vehicle height you need; available side room and headroom; coastal or wind exposure; whether the garage has another entrance; and whether you want smartphone access. We will check those requirements on site and specify the complete door, locks and opener.
