Bring your colour ideas to us and compare a physical sample alongside your home’s finishes. We’ll confirm availability for your door size, profile, manufacturing location and installation, including any surcharge. Screens, lighting, timber-look patterns and weathering can affect appearance, so an exact match to another building product cannot be guaranteed.

Your quote will show any finish surcharge. Our roller range brochure identifies Sandbank, Stone, all matt finishes and Timber Coat; the September 2026 technical guide also flags Dover White. We’ll confirm the local range and finish price for your exact model.

This is the standard Roll-A-Door finish list. Check Neo, Secure or Rollmasta for the named finishes and restrictions for that family.

Check the space and drive-through height

We’ll measure both your opening and the space around it before confirming the door size. Door width includes overlap, so it differs from the clear opening you drive through. Your chosen finish, wind rating and opener also need to suit the complete installation.

MeasurementWhy it matters
Opening width and heightDetermines the door size, overlap and usable vehicle opening.
HeadroomProvides space for the roller curtain or sectional track, brackets and springs.
Side roomMust accommodate guides, brackets, the selected opener and any lock hardware.
Ceiling depth / backroomNeeded for sectional tracks and the opener rail; check beams, pipework and storage.
Floor and supporting structureSlope can affect the bottom detail; the lintel and side supports must suit the installation.

Roll-A-Door Neo uses at least 40 mm overlap each side, compared with 30 mm for the listed standard Series 1 models. Guides, brackets, handles and the opener can change the clearance. Use the installation table on the chosen product page.

Specify options before manufacture

Choose tapers, ventilation, locks and mullions to suit your particular model. Our residential mullion arrangements are manual only, cannot be combined with an opener or Windlock and are excluded above 2,900 mm door height. Perforations cannot be combined with Windlock or a fixed taper. We’ll confirm your complete setup before you order.

Our Insul-Shield option is for eligible new sectional doors. If insulation is central to your plans, compare sectional doors. A standard roller curtain or decorative finish does not establish a cyclone or bushfire rating.

Both require a suitable balanced roller door. Smartphone and battery kits must match the model and hardware generation; a shared manual does not make every accessory interchangeable.

Compare cover as well as features

Warranty cover follows the model and application. Our eligible residential Total Confidence package requires a matching B&D door and opener purchased in the same transaction, installation by B&D or a B&D Representative, registration and the specified servicing. The time or cycle limit ends cover when either is reached first. Springs, seals, lifting cables and opener accessories have separate component terms.

Read the model-specific warranty guide and keep your purchase, installation and service records.

Standard residential door coverTime or cycle limit — whichever occurs first
Roll-A-Door5 years or 30,000 cycles
Rollmasta3 years or 15,000 cycles

Roll-A-Door Secure uses separate system terms. A spring design-cycle rating does not replace the separate component warranty.
