Tri-Tran+ security and radio operation

Our Tri-Tran+ controls use encrypted communication across three frequencies to help reduce interference from other wireless equipment. If one or two frequencies are affected, communication can continue on the others. Radio control still has limits: it cannot eliminate every source of interference or attempted intrusion.

Premium handheld remotes are compact four-button keyring controls. Choose from red and black styles in our current range. Wall-mounted remotes provide a convenient fixed control location inside the garage.

What comes with the current openers?

Hiro GDO-12Two premium remotes and a wall button; memory for 64
Toro GDO-10Two entry-level remotes and a Logic Console; memory for 511

These are model-specific kit and memory details. A memory limit is the number of registered transmitters, not the number of app users or doors that every remote can operate. Confirm inclusions for the actual replacement or new package.

Replacing or adding a remote

Need help finding a replacement? Speak to your local dealer or call us on 13 62 63. We’ll check your receiver generation; older systems may need a different remote or an approved upgrade.

Battery and troubleshooting details

The linked RDO-1V3/RDO-1V4 and SDO-6V3/7V3/9V3 manuals specify a CR2032 3 V battery for their handheld transmitters. Check the actual remote before replacing a battery, fit the correct polarity and keep coin cells away from children. Follow the product’s disposal instructions.

SymptomUseful first check
Reduced range or no responseCheck the battery and test close to the opener with a clear view of the door
Only one remote failsCheck its registration and battery rather than changing the door’s force settings
All controls failCheck opener power, door condition and the model’s status indicators
Intermittent responseHave local interference, receiver position and remote compatibility assessed

Other ways to enter the garage

Compare entry keypads and emergency access devices if you need entry without a handheld remote. Smartphone control can add app access to supported openers but needs the appropriate hub, connectivity and Safety Beams.

Warranty and safe use

Transmitters, receivers and transceivers have one-year accessory cover in the current general terms. Keep remotes out of children’s reach and use them only when it is safe to move the door. A wall control should be positioned as required by the opener installation instructions.

Find the right accessory for your system

To help us recommend a suitable setup, have these details ready:

We check compatibility before specifying a kit. A photo of the labels and existing arrangement can help us identify the equipment; your quote should name the supplied kit, installation and any extra safety components.

Your brochures and operating guides

Find the installation drawings, full operating instructions and warranty conditions below. Choose the document that matches your model and supplied configuration, as controls and requirements can differ between generations.
