Maximum area and weight are separate limits and both must be met. The door must be balanced and the actual equipment/version confirmed. Peak force is not a continuous lifting allowance.

For roller doors, Power Drive and Roll-A-Pro have different capacities, controls and options. A broad opener price range does not prove that a lock, beam kit, hub or battery is included.

Choose options before comparing quotes

Insul-Shield is for eligible new sectional doors, with finish and window restrictions. It is not a universal add-on for every door. Windows, designer cladding, tapers and wind-rated configurations also need the exact model and installation checked.

Is the door-only price the amount I’ll pay?

No. A door-only figure covers a different scope from an installed automatic system. Your quote should make the opener, accessories, installation and any removal work clear. Ask the dealer to identify exclusions, such as electrical or building work, before accepting it.

Can I choose the opener later?

It’s worth discussing automation at the same time as the door. The mechanism, size, weight and available mounting space affect opener selection, and package inclusions vary. Some products are supplied as a complete system. We’ll help you confirm the combination before ordering.

How do I compare two quotes fairly?

Check that both specify the same door model, dimensions, profile and finish, then compare the opener, controls, locks, safety equipment and installation scope. A lower door-only figure may cover fewer items than a complete package. Ask about lead time, payment terms and warranty requirements as well as the total price.

Who confirms my final price?

Your dealer confirms the written quote for the selected products and installation. We manufacture our doors to the required specification; the dealer coordinates supply and installation. A free-quote enquiry starts that conversation and does not place an order.

Warranty cover follows the model and application. Our eligible residential Total Confidence package requires a matching B&D door and opener purchased in the same transaction, installation by B&D or a B&D Representative, registration and the specified servicing. The time or cycle limit ends cover when either is reached first. Springs, seals, lifting cables and opener accessories have separate component terms.
