Physical locking for roller and sectional systems

Roll-A-Door Secure is a complete roller-door system with dual automatic locks, security guides, a reinforced bottom rail and compatible opener. Its Deluxe and Neo configurations have their own dimensions and finish eligibility.

Sectional AUTO LOCK adds a compatible physical locking arrangement to specified sectional systems. We check door, opener, lock version and fitting space before recommending an upgrade. Closing a motorised door and adding a separate physical lock are different functions.

Obstruction sensing and Safety Beams

Automatic Reverse responds to the opener’s configured obstruction threshold. Safety Beams detect an interruption across the opening before the closing door reaches that beam path. Neither feature makes it safe to stand or leave objects beneath a moving door.

Out-of-sight smartphone operation and specified auto-close arrangements require compatible protective equipment. We identify the actual beam model and test the completed installation. Read the current beam-kit details.

Control access and receive alerts

A compatible smartphone system can provide door status, notifications and access management. Check the opener/hub generation, network at the garage, account permissions and required Safety Beams. Review access when a user leaves or a property changes hands.

Plan for a power cut

Battery Backup supports a limited number of operations according to charge, condition and door load. It does not power the whole garage or keep an unpowered internet router working. Understand the manual procedure for the actual door, opener and lock before an outage; do not release a damaged or unbalanced door.

Insulation and weather seals

For eligible new sectional doors, Insul-Shield is an additional choice when thermal or acoustic performance matters. The published R-value and acoustic test apply to the referenced construction, not every garage or a guaranteed energy saving. Window, finish and construction restrictions need to be decided when ordering. Compare insulation and sealing options.

Warranty cover follows the model and application. Our eligible residential Total Confidence package requires a matching B&D door and opener purchased in the same transaction, installation by B&D or a B&D Representative, registration and the specified servicing. The time or cycle limit ends cover when either is reached first. Springs, seals, lifting cables and opener accessories have separate component terms.
