Safe as can B&D
Your garage holds more than a car. It can be the place for bikes, tools and the things your family loves. We design doors, openers and compatible accessories to work together, with different features for physical security and protection around a moving door.
Know the difference between closed and locked
A door that has reached the floor is not proof that a separate physical lock has engaged. Our sectional AUTO LOCK adds a compatible automatic locking bolt. Ask us to identify the actual door, opener generation and lock arrangement before adding it to an existing installation. It is not a universal retrofit for every door.
A complete roller-door security system
If you are choosing a new roller door, explore Roll-A-Door Secure as its own complete system. Its door, locks and specified opener must be considered together. Do not assume a sectional AUTO LOCK kit can provide the same arrangement on an existing roller door.
Give a moving door a clear path
Compatible Safety Beams detect interruption across their beam path. In the specified setup, an interrupted beam prevents closing or reverses a closing door. They cannot detect every object everywhere, so keep people, pets and vehicles clear. Automatic Reverse is an opener protection feature; it does not replace a physical lock or make it safe to walk beneath a moving door.
Keep hands away from joints and tracks
Our sectional-door designs include model-specific features intended to reduce finger-entrapment risks. Those features do not make every moving part safe to touch. Teach children to keep away from panels, hinges, cables and tracks, and store remote controls where they cannot become toys.
Choose convenience with the right safeguards
Smartphone operation can help you check the supported door status and manage authorised access. It still depends on the compatible opener, hub, app, connection and required Safety Beams. App status is not proof of every physical lock’s condition. Check the installed system’s instructions and keep its protective equipment working.
Keep the protection working
Arrange service when movement, sound or locking behaviour changes. If the door is damaged, crooked or has a broken spring or cable, stop using it and arrange a repair. We can help you compare the equipment included with a new door or assess a suitable upgrade for the system already in your garage.
