Submit the correct enquiry

Open the B&D repair request form · Open the B&D service request form · Call 13 62 63

These forms open on our main website. The local provider confirms appointment availability and scope; a new-door complimentary consultation is separate from repair diagnosis or a paid service.

What a service covers

  • Inspection of door condition, movement, balance and mounting points.
  • Appropriate lubrication and inspection of moving parts for the actual mechanism.
  • Professional assessment of spring tension, travel and force settings.
  • Checks of the installed safety devices, controls and locks.
  • Identification of wear, damage and any work requiring a separate repair quote.

Allow around 30 minutes for a standard service. Your visit may take longer depending on the door and any faults we find.

When to book your service

We recommend a B&D Representative service within 12 months of installation and every two years after that. This schedule is also a condition of eligible Total Confidence cover. Heavy use or exposure may mean your door needs earlier attention; keep dated invoices and service records.

Check model-specific warranty periods and conditions

Have these details ready

  • Door and opener model/version, approximate age and installation details.
  • The symptom, exact light pattern, any impact and when the problem started.
  • Which remotes or other controls work and which accessories are installed.
  • Your suburb/postcode, safe access and whether there is another entrance.
  • Previous service records and purchase details for a possible warranty claim.

Stop if the door is damaged, crooked, unusually heavy or has a broken spring or cable. Keep people and vehicles clear and arrange a repair. Do not release an open or unsupported door, pull it back onto its tracks or adjust springs, cables or opener force settings.

Other brands and commercial doors

Need help with another brand or commercial equipment? We welcome your enquiry. Your local provider will confirm model suitability, parts and coverage. Commercial door size, usage and location can change the work required.
