What our BAL-Maze documentation covers
Our Panelift sectional door with the proprietary metal labyrinth BAL-Maze system was tested by CSIRO to AS 1530.8.1:2018 and achieved BAL AA40 as described in document 165027_00. The application table lists BAL-12.5, BAL-19, BAL-29 and BAL-40; it does not cover BAL-FZ.
The result applies to the specified door-and-protection system. The compliance document requires installation by a trained installer to our instructions, with the installer signing the compliance label attached to the door. A standard door without the specified system is not the same tested assembly.
