These are the Series 3000 manual’s single-phase 3100 models. AX3305, AX3310 and AX3315 are the separate three-phase 3300 range; their 415 V supply and larger model options should not be presented as 3100 specifications. Area limits do not replace a load, gearing and usage assessment.

Two operating setups

SetupRequired equipment and operation
Deadman setupDrive unit and Manual Console; supervised hold-to-run control as specified
Automated full-logic setupDrive unit, Logic Console, compatible transmitters and Safety Beams

The full-logic kit includes two TrioCode 128 keyring transmitters and wired Safety Beams. The Logic Console gives you an LCD menu and programmable functions. Without installed and detected beams, automatic Safety Close mode limits the available functions; your installer must commission the complete system for full automatic operation.

Access, programming and safety

Controller programming is installation work. Have the technician test every safety device and demonstrate normal operation, emergency stopping and the permitted manual procedure. Do not bypass a safety-close state to regain unattended control.

Mechanical installation and manual operation

The installation hardware includes a drive unit, communication cable, timing assembly, mounting flange, output shaft, sprocket and chain. We’ll check the mounting, ratio, shaft alignment and door balance against your shutter and support structure.

Your Axess Pro 3100 has a hand-chain arrangement. If the console shows “Drive Disengaged”, check whether the hand chain is hanging freely. Learn the manual-operation procedure for your installation and keep the chain and moving parts clear. Residential rail-opener release instructions do not apply to this system.

We’ll plan the motor and maintenance schedule around your daily and peak usage. Axess Pro 3100 has a 60% duty rating and is not intended for continuous operation.

Warranty and commercial maintenance

We size commercial systems around the opening, daily and peak operating cycles, environment, access control and safety needs. Tell us about forklifts, delivery vehicles, public access and shift patterns. Maximum area alone does not establish suitability. The door, motor, controls and protective devices must be specified as a complete installation.

Have a qualified technician set the inspection and service schedule for actual use. Keep tracks and access areas clear, check wear and damage, and stop use after an impact or a safety fault. Do not adjust springs, chain drives or electrical controls without the appropriate training.

Axess Pro 3100 has five years or 10,000 cycles of cover, whichever comes first, under our current general warranty and the linked Automatic Technology commercial handbook. Accessories and operating conditions have separate terms. We’ll confirm the warranty with your package; keep your installation and service records.
