Drive and control features

The 1505 uses an inverter-driven three-phase induction motor from a standard single-phase supply. Soft start and stop, variable travel speed and adjustable overload detection support controlled movement. The Logic Control System provides an LCD menu, service indication, a 24-hour clock and storage for up to 511 transmitters.

Automatic position tracking and limit setup help manage door movement. Your installer commissions the supplied version and checks its required safety equipment alongside position control and obstruction settings.

The 60% duty rating needs to suit your working day. We’ll assess door mass, travel, ambient conditions and your operating schedule to confirm the right setup. It is not a continuous-duty rating or a fixed number of cycles per hour.

Package and configuration choices

Our August 2025 Axess Pro 1505 package includes the opener, two transmitters, a Logic Console and wired Safety Beams. Compatible wireless beams are an alternative. We’ll confirm whether your quote includes this package or a controller arrangement specified for your site.

An optional lockable control box encloses the console and provides separate Open, Close and Emergency Stop controls. Its keyed selection supports Auto, Manual and Off positions. The Series 1500 manual describes the safety-close fallback and auto-close configurations; auto-close is enabled only with the required functioning safety beams.

Space, access and commissioning

The current manufacturer page describes a mounting arrangement requiring 120 mm between the ceiling and the highest door-travel point. Track length and door height must match the selected kit. Check structure, rail alignment, electrical supply and maintenance access during the site measure.

Have us configure the access program, time clock, authorised remotes, safety inputs and service indicators for the business. Learn the model-specific manual operation procedure from the installer; do not substitute a residential opener’s release instructions.

Looking after your opener and warranty

We size commercial systems around the opening, daily and peak operating cycles, environment, access control and safety needs. Tell us about forklifts, delivery vehicles, public access and shift patterns. Maximum area alone does not establish suitability. The door, motor, controls and protective devices must be specified as a complete installation.

Have a qualified technician set the inspection and service schedule for actual use. Keep tracks and access areas clear, check wear and damage, and stop use after an impact or a safety fault. Do not adjust springs, chain drives or electrical controls without the appropriate training.

Our published Axess Pro 1505 warranty periods conflict. Our November 2025 general warranty table lists five years or 10,000 cycles, whichever occurs first. The August 2025 Automatic Technology specification lists two years or 5,000 cycles, while our main Axess Pro 1505 product page states two years or 10,000 cycles.

These are conflicting published terms, not selectable warranty options. We cannot determine the applicable period from these documents alone. Ask us to confirm the warranty applying to your supplied model and installation in writing with your quote, and keep those terms with your purchase records.
