Choose a garage door colour that belongs with your home
Your garage door is a substantial part of the view from the street. The right colour can help it sit quietly with the façade or make it a feature in its own right. Start with the materials already around it, then compare the finishes available on your chosen B&D door.

Build a palette from the things you will keep
Look at the roof, brickwork or render, window frames, gutters, front door and driveway. Decide which elements will remain and which are being changed. A sample that looks right on its own can feel very different beside a warm brick or a cool grey wall.
Choose a direction before narrowing the colour: blend with an existing surface, create a deliberate contrast, or introduce a timber-look accent. Repeat an accent thoughtfully rather than trying to match every surface. Landscaping and shade also change how the door appears through the day.

A finish name does not make it available on every door size or model. Roll-A-Door Secure, for example, has different single- and double-door finish availability. We’ll check the exact combination and any surcharge before you order.
Use texture as well as colour
A woodgrain texture can soften the appearance of a steel surface. A smooth finish gives a cleaner plane but may show normal flat-panel undulations more readily, particularly in a dark colour or strong light. Nullarbor Smooth is an Icon option; standard Panelift Nullarbor is woodgrain.
Our current Timber-Look range includes seven colours across Nullarbor, Seville and Madrid, with five further colours on Nullarbor. Use the current timber-look selection rather than assuming a colour or profile from an older photograph remains available.
Compare samples at your property
Hold a physical sample beside the roof, wall and window finishes. Look in direct light and shade, and at different times if possible. Screen settings, printing, texture and weathering mean the same named colour is not a promise of an exact match to another building product.

Bring a clear shortlist to your quote
Bring photographs, two or three preferred finishes and details of the door profile, windows or insulation you want. Some combinations are excluded, so confirm the complete design together. Your quote should name the colour, texture, profile, model and any finish charge, making it easier to compare your options confidently.
